Transparency & Agreed Clearance Terms

These terms explain how the agreed scope, retained belongings, reusable items and any changes to a clearance are handled.

Before the property is handed over

Customers must identify, remove or clearly set aside any items they wish to keep before ScapeClear begins work. Please tell us about anything that must remain at the property.

How the quotation is prepared

Your quotation is based on the condition of the property, its contents, access and the scope of work observed and agreed when the quote is prepared.

Changes to the agreed work

Changes to the property, its contents, access or the agreed scope — including additional work that was not disclosed — may change the price. Where reasonably possible, we will discuss this with you before proceeding.

Valuable or reusable items

Any price reduction based on valuable or reusable items is conditional on those items remaining in the clearance. If they are removed or materially changed, the quotation may be amended or the reduction reinstated.

What happens after handover

Once the property and contents have been handed over for clearance, items may be rehomed, reused, recycled, responsibly disposed of or resold. ScapeClear aims to avoid landfill wherever possible and recycle or reuse as much as practicable.

A Clearance Approach That Works for Everyone

Potential resale value may be considered when preparing a quotation, but it is not a guaranteed discount.
